Mid-Market SDR

£30k + £18k

Our client’s mission is to help merchants sell more at every stage of growth. They’re looking for an ambitious Enterprise SDR to join their dynamic sales team. You’ll be responsible for targeting, engaging, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with prospects to help build a quality pipeline for Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.

What You Will Do

Engage with Mid-Market and Enterprise Prospects

  • Call, email, and use LinkedIn to engage prospects who might be a fit the company’s platform
  • Use modern qualification methodologies to qualify Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Schedule and hold Discovery meetings with key decision-makers
  • Source Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) for the Mid-Market and Enterprise team
  • Prospect – conduct account research, acquire accurate contact information for target accounts
  • Develop tailored messaging that engages key decision-makers
  • Follow-up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
  • Work closely with Account Executives to learn the Discovery process

Develop Skills to Consistently Achieve Quotas and Objectives

  • Develop an understanding of both the company and the key attributes of their merchants
  • Qualify leads through cold calling and outbound sales campaigns
  • Deploy established sales methodologies to push beyond gatekeepers
  • Draw upon your experience to assess complex business structures and challenges
  • Obtain information that is critical to the sale, and select an appropriate course of action and/or solution to get the job done
  • Meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers by completing detailed needs analyses, acting with customers in mind, and establishing effective relationships through trust and respect
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and effectively maintain a CRM with detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities

Key Skills

  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English and one of the following: French, German or Italian
  • More than six months of experience prospecting or selling SaaS solutions
  • An understanding of SaaS and eCommerce technologies
  • Sales or sales development experience, ideally in a high volume, fast-paced inside sales environment
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and solution selling
  • Organization – you must be able to collect and deliver information effectively
  • Curiosity – you must possess a willingness to learn about our prospective merchants
  • Collaboration – you consistently share your knowledge with others to increase the overall success of the team
  • Drive – you thrive on challenges and have a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives
  • Business savviness – you have a developing degree of business acumen
  • Customer focus – you have a passion for mid-market business customers, service, and satisfaction
  • Persuasion – you must have strong persuasion and negotiation skills – it is a sales job
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Efficiency – excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Attentiveness – passion for client service and satisfaction and are able to manage sensitive information and numerous details with ease
