How much does an SDR cost in London in 2026?
An entry-level SDR in London currently costs £32,000 to £35,000 base, with OTE around £45,000 to £50,000, based on Timberseed's own UK placement data. RepVue's UK data, updated 15 September 2026, puts the median SDR base noticeably higher, at £39,988 with median OTE of £60,078.
Why the published median overstates a first hire
RepVue's sample skews towards established SaaS employers with mature comp bands, not companies making a first SDR hire. A company hiring its first SDR is competing in a different part of the market: a graduate or first-time SDR in London starts below that median, and an experienced rep with a track record costs more than it.
What the full range looks like by level
Entry-level SDRs run £32,000 to £35,000 base (£45,000 to £50,000 OTE). Experienced SDRs who have carried a number before run £35,000 to £45,000 base (£55,000 to £70,000 OTE). Senior SDRs run £45,000 to £60,000 base (£65,000 to £96,000 OTE). Ranges are London-anchored; regional UK roles run lower, and Germany and the Nordics price differently again.
What attainment does to the real cost of a hire
57.9% of UK SDRs currently hit quota, according to RepVue as of September 2026. That number should shape your cost-per-meeting model more than the headline base salary does: a cheap hire who never hits target costs more than an expensive one who does.
What it costs to recruit the hire itself
Our fee is a percentage of first-year base salary, agreed before the search starts, on a contingent or retained basis depending on the role and brief. See our fee guide for how that's structured.
